They Said It Could Not Be Done... WE DID IT!

One of our customers contacted us in December for a HUGE project he had in mind. (pardon the pun!)

A centre island measuring 2800 x 1960 x 30mm... many companies turned him away and said it could not be done...

The island was templated then processed on our CNC machine to be transported to site.

We listened to his requirements and scoured the yard for the perfect slab of Absolute Nero. IT COULD BE DONE and we were willing to take on the challenge!

As you can see above our hunkiest fitters were carefully selected and thoroughly enjoyed the challenge!

Sealant is applied to the newly installed worktop to prevent any stains/water absorption.

As you can see from the finished product, it looks absolutely stunning and was definitely worth the effort. We would not recommend an island of this size in any other colour than black as it is dense enough to cope with being handled with cut outs.

The perfect focal point for family gatherings and dinner parties installed just in time for Christmas!
